Establishing our Lewes, Delaware satellite office, Marylou Wellbrock-Reeves CFP® joined Glen Eagle Advisors, LLC in 2018. Prior to that time, Marylou was President of Thomas Mack Associates, Inc., a fee only financial planning and investment management practice located for over thirty years in Rockaway, New Jersey and recently of Lewes, Delaware.
After graduating from Rider University, Marylou began her career in the Personal Financial Planning Division of E.F. Hutton and Company, Inc., in New York City where she received extensive training in tax, investment, financial, and estate planning. Later, Marylou joined the Summit Trust Company in Summit, New Jersey to help form their Personal Financial Planning Department, one of the first such programs sponsored by a bank in the State of New Jersey. In 1988, and shortly after earning her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Marylou opened her own financial planning practice, Thomas Mack Associates, Inc.
Over her career, Marylou has conducted several financial planning workshops and seminars and for many years, Marylou contributed to columns in the Morris County, New Jersey Daily Record. Marylou has owned a home in Lewes, Delaware since 2001, but only recently moved there full time. Joining her New Jersey friend, CEO Susan Michel, at Glen Eagle, allows Marylou to continue to work with her New Jersey clients while growing her practice in Delaware with access to Glen Eagle’s investment research, administrative, operational, and technology support.
